Funeral services for Guy H Vantrease were held yesterday morning at Crafton Funeral Home. Rev Wilbur Powell officiated. Burial was at McKendree Chapel Cemetery. Vantrease, 61 of Franklin, died Sunday night at Franklin-Simpson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Simpson County, he was the son of the late Clifton and Ruth Smith Vantrease. Survivors include three sons, Johnny and Steve Vantrease, both of Franklin, and Jerry Van­trease, Bowling Green; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Sandefur, Owensboro; one half-sister, Mrs. Betty Jo Davidson of Franklin, and four grandchildren.
